ResiMap is a professional tool for tracking new-home sales activity. We collect as little personal information as we can while still running the service. We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising, and we do not use analytics or tracking software.
This policy explains what ResiMap USA LLC (“ResiMap,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use the ResiMap mobile app or visit resimapusa.com, how that information is used, and what choices you have.
When you sign in to ResiMap, we store:
That is the complete list. We do not ask for your name, phone number, employer, mailing address, or payment details through the app.
Your location never leaves your device. If you use the “Near me” feature, ResiMap asks your device for your current position and uses it immediately and only on your device — to center the map and draw a five-mile radius around you.
Those coordinates are not transmitted to our servers, not stored in our database, not logged, and not shared with anyone. They exist only in your device's memory while the app is open, and are discarded when you close it.
The “Near me” feature is entirely optional. If you decline the location permission, every other part of ResiMap works normally.
When you type an address into the search box, that text is sent to LocationIQ's geocoding service to convert it into map coordinates. Suggestions appear as you type, so the partial text is sent as you enter it. The address text is shared with that service; your account and your device location are not.
We use the limited information above only to:
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
The community and sales-pace information shown on the map is aggregated from publicly available homebuilder websites. It describes new-home communities and lot inventory, not individuals. It contains no personal information about homebuyers, homeowners, or residents.
We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers. Each processes data only to deliver its service to us:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your account record from our production database within 30 days. Routine backups may retain a copy for up to 90 days, after which they expire. Server logs held by our hosting providers are retained on their standard schedules.
You can delete your ResiMap account at any time from within the app. Open the control panel, scroll to the bottom, and select Delete account. You will be asked to confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your account and your profile record are removed, and you will need a new invitation to regain access.
You may also request deletion by emailing connor@resimapusa.com from the address on the account. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
You can grant or revoke location access at any time in your device settings. Revoking it disables only the “Near me” feature.
You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing us at the address below.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion or correction, and not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. To exercise any right, email us.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are performance of a contract (providing the service you signed up for) and legitimate interests (keeping the service secure and reliable). You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. ResiMap is operated from the United States, and information is processed there.
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all traffic, and our database provider encrypts data at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit risk by collecting very little personal information in the first place.
ResiMap is a professional tool intended for people in the real estate and homebuilding industry. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will notify account holders by email before they take effect.
